Abstract

The article approaches, in a slightly different way, one of the phenomena that occupy generous spaces in the literature, namely the importance of communication in the parent-child relationship. In the introductory part related to a real-life situation, which constitutes the starting point containing the central idea, the content of the material is structured. The emphasis is placed on the processual dimension of communication, an aspect highlighted from a double perspective: from that of the theory specific to the field, and from that of the bio-psycho-social evolution of the individual, detailing the relevant elements for the stage of language formation. Once the locutionary stage is overcome, and the communication capacity is established, this becomes the primary way the individual can connect socially. A structural need, markedly felt. Further, depending on personal abilities, and the family context, favorable or not for their development, the person flows through the context of existence under the absolute conditionality of the quality of the act of communication.
